I'd like to do a documentary set in 1990 surrounding the national storm that Aerosmith set into motion with their song Janie's Got a Gun.
Liberals would be shown bulldozing their Aerosmith CDs (with electric dozers, not diesel of course) in response to the band's unrepentent endorsement of putting down child molestors.
Meanwhile conservative groups would be remembered for forgiving the band's past drug-usin' ways - culminating with the NRA honoring Aerosmith as their "band of the year." Steven Tyler's invitation to the NRA awards banquet would have a hand-written note warning him to "leave the scarves and shit at home." (1)
Somewhere in the documentary the band would be honored by Paramount's Star Trek division, awarding each band member with the status of Admiral, complete with uniform.
