No I'm not talking about Michelle Obama's taste in music. TIME has an article discussing the diplomatic blunder of the First Lady briefly touching the Queen of England during a recent visit. For anyone not familiar with monarchal traditions, touching the Queen is no-no, even for other nations' leaders.
Ultra-conservatives have joined the chorus condemning Michelle Obama for this "inexcusable blunder of epic consequences," not so much because they care about an insignificant and minor gaffe that breaks the rule of indulging the Crown's snobbery. No, it's more that anything the President or his wife do is wrong, so why not make a huge deal about this too!

This is like the overreaction for Barry O not wearing a jacket and tie in the Oval Office. You have a former Dubya staff member railing on Obama for not "respecting office"...yeah, Bush respected the Oval Office...he sure as fuck didn't respect the office of the POTUS
