Just to clarify...we're not just GIVING $15 billion to the big 3 automakers. The bill that's being worked on in Washington is to provide short-term loans to the companies to get them through the next three months (and Ford is claiming they may not need it at all).
I don't particularly care how anybody feels about the bailout, you can be for or against. However, when discussing at least know what the fuck you're talking about. Seriously.

I thought it was made pretty clear that this would be a loan, to be repaid in full. I guess there are some who aren't paying attention.

Plenty of people are unaware of the nature of this bailout, assuming that our tax dollars are simply getting pocketed by the big 3. A significant number of people don't pay close attention to the news which explains things like, you know, "undecided" voters.
