I'd say it's about time and long overdue. When I think of the most talented musicians of any band in the last 40 years, Aerosmith instantly comes to mind. Songs like "Rag Doll," "Janie's Got a Gun," "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," and "Angel," to name a few, rank among the most memorable songs of my lifetime. Finally Starfleet has recognized this fact, too, and honored Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer with the most esteemed rank Starfleet has to offer: Admiral. Congratulations, guys!
